| Abstract: Screening was carried out on hundred guava genotype in respect of fruits physical attributes during 2010-2011.Physical fruit characters of guava fruits varies significantly among different guava genotypes. Out of hundred guava genotypes, thirteen elite guava genotypes (genotype no 100,99,30,50,4,94,57,88,5,33,3,8 and 67) toped the rest of genotypes in term of physical characters. Tree no. 99 was found superior one over all genotypes , in term of fruit weight (300.5g) fruit diameter (7.36cm) , less number of seed per fruit(0), lowest seed weight(0.00g), lowest seed weight to fruit weight ratio(0%), higher pulp thickness (3.2cm), higher pulp weight(271.7g), pulp to fruit weight ratio(88.7%), maximum peel weight (28.83g). |
