Article Title: Physio-chemical and Microbial Analysis of Boreholes water samples: A case of some boreholes in Edo North, Edo State
by Iyasele Julius U and Idiata David. J

Abstract:
Groundwater provides potable water to an estimated 1.5 billion people worldwide daily and has proved the most reliable resources for meeting rural water demand in sub-Saharan Africa. The twenty (20) samples of water collected from the boreholes were analyzed for both Physio-chemical and Microbial constituents. The findings shows that Turbidity, Ammonium, Cadmium, Chlorine, Lead, EC, TDS, Zinc and Total hardness levels did constitute a pollution, since they were all within the WHO limit. The pH, Iron and Microbial level shows a level that constitutes pollution
