| Abstract: In this work, dynamical behaviour of prismatic beam under time varying moving loads has been investigated. Effect of non uniformity of the structure was neglected. The mass of the travelling load is assumed as power function. An analytical solution to problem of the fourth order partial differential equations governing the motion of the vibrating system is obtained by the adaptable Fourier sine transformation method. Analyses of the solutions obtained were carried out and various results were displayed in plotted curve. It is concluded that with increasing in load increasing factor, the dynamic response amplitudes of beam increases. Effects of foundational stiffness of the beam were also instituted. |
