| Abstract: This paper is a comparative study of state of infrastructures development in Nigeria and Africa states in relationship with the ongoing climate change vis-?-vis its attendant challenges. The paper identified deficit in infrastructural development is a threat to global peace. The paper posited that regardless of the fact that most African states records low gas emission to the atmosphere, they suffer a lot from climatic variability. It finally concluded that for a sustainable development, there is a strong need for both political and financial will to improve the quality of infrastructures in African states. The green building scheme should be embraced by African nations to raise consciousness of the need to protect the environment, reduce demand on fossil fuel as well as alleviate the disaster of global warming. |
