| Abstract: This study investigates the incidence of alcohol use and abuse among University of Lagos female students. Students' questionnaire on alcohol use abuse (SQAUA) was the major research instrument used to collect relevant data from the respondents. A total of 200 randomly selected students were used as samples. Five null hypotheses were formulated and tested with the use of chi-square, and simple percentage method of analysis. The results obtained indicated that there is significant relationship between female students' use and abuse of alcohol and their social relationship, there is significant relationship between female students' use and abuse of alcohol and their morals, and there is no significant relationship between use and abuse of alcohol and female student academic performance. |
