Article Title: Electronic Library and Other Internet Resources in Universities as Allied Forces in Global Research Work and Intellectual Emancipation

Abstract:
A digital library is a special library with a focused collection of digital objects that can include text, visual materials, audio materials, video materials, stored as electronic media formats (as opposed to print, microform or other media along with means for organizing, storing and retrieving the files and media contained in the library collection). Digital library has tremendous advantages over the traditional library. Among there are physical boundary not necessarily available, round the clock availability, multiple access to multifarious users at the same time, effective information retrieval, preservation and conservation of documents, capacity to store much more information making collaborative research works available and affordable and promotion of knowledge explosion globally etc . This paper examines electronic library and other internet resources for global intellectual emancipation. Brief summary of the all content was made, related recommendation at the end why feasible conclusion was arrived at including the related beneficiary and stakeholders were pinpointed.
